Informationen zum Autor Charlotte Josephine is an actor, writer and director. She co-directed Snuff Box's debut show The Observatory and found time at the Fringe that same year to perform in her self-penned debut play Perffection at Zoo Roxy. Charlie received a new writing commendation for Perffection from the NSDF days after breaking her ankle on Edinburgh's slippery cobblestones. Since then, Charlie has been very busy, whether it's training at Islington Boxing Club, developing new pieces as a member of Soho Theatre's Writer's Lab, or writing new play Bitch Boxer, selected to be part of The Old Vic New Voice's Edinburgh Season in 2012. Between all this you might find her busking for pennies with her saxophone on the South Bank. Klappentext You are invited ringside, for an adrenaline-fueled, no-holds-barred one-woman show unafraid to document the blood, the sweat and the tears. Zusammenfassung Bitch Boxer was the winner of the Holden Street Theatres Awards 2013 at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2013. An adrenaline-fuelled, no-holes-barred one-woman show about a female boxer. An exciting new writing talent.
