Liquid Crystals is used in many applications, in the medical and industrial applications, books, conference and research have been increased in this field. Liquid crystalline polymers is classified into main chain, side chain and combined. In this book side chain liquid is studied. The following results are obtained : adding non polar group results in reducing density of the mesogenic units attached to the polymer chains. This, in turn, reduce the contribution of the dipole moment of the cyano - group parallel to the molecular long axis of the mesogenic unit and this, in turn, reduce of dielectric anisotropic and thus enhanced mobility for the system, therefore it can be used in storage and display devices.
