Integrating and testing of visual device is based on OMAP processor. Basically OMAP is dual core processor which consists of ARM and DSP processor. Visual device is interfaced to DSP processor which is programmed with the use of the Code Composer Studio in embedded C. A camera captures image, processes and interprets the data that it acquires in real time and takes decision intelligently. The goal of the project is to achieve high-level representation of a scene and to perform real time analysis of what it perceives. The project is implemented with Camera as video capture device used for video capture and streaming in the Micro Air Vehicle applications. The video stream so captured is processed in OMAP processor and down streamed to the host computer or any other device through USB interface.
