Man darf aber deshalb nicht allzu optimistisch sein, an eine künftige erfolgreiche Hebung der vorhandenen unter irdischen Schätze des Landes zu glauben; andererseits kann nur ein starker Pessimismus heute schon behaupten wollen, dass eine günstige Entwicklung des Bergbaues in Süd westafrika überhaupt nicht möglich sei.
