About the author
Karen Hines is the author of five award-winning plays published by Coach House Books: The Pochsy Plays trilogy, Hello
Hello and Drama: Pilot Episode. She is a two-time finalist for the Governor General’s Literary Award for Drama and is a Dora Award-winning performer and director for the stage. She has performed extensively in Canadian television and film, while her independent stage performances, plays and productions have been presented across North America and in Germany, and her trio of short films featuring the character "Pochsy" has screened on five continents. She lives in Calgary, Alberta.
