Poupées. La morale du joujou

Ces trois textes brefs, Samskola, Poupées de cire et
Mitsou, de Rainer Maria Rilke, sont réunis par une
même tension qui va de l'étrangeté au paradoxe jusqu'à
l'expérience de la perte. Cette tension omniprésente
est aussi celle qui oppose la vie à l'artifice, la liberté
aux conventions, la créativité et la reproduction, le
monde adulte et cette «part d'enfance» tant vantée
chez Bernanos quand elle ne disparaît pas chez la
«grande personne». Cette tension se retrouve enfin
dans l'essai de Baudelaire intitulé La Morale du
joujou (1853), reproduit en annexe.
Cet ensemble est un hymne à la liberté qui n'a
pourtant rien de naïf car Rilke sait que la liberté n'est
pas un dû mais une conquête parfois dangereuse pour
qui n'y est pas préparé.
