DIALECTIQUE NEGATIVE

Dialectique négative est l'oeuvre maîtresse de Theodor W. Adorno et l'un des grands textes philosophiques de notre temps. «Ce qui a été pensé peut être réprimé, oublié, se perdre, écrivait-il. Mais on ne peut nier qu'il en reste quelque chose. Car le penser comporte un moment d'universalité. Ce qui a été pensé de façon pertinente doit nécessairement [...] être pensé par d'autres.» Une formule définit le geste de pensée d'Adorno: la dialectique est la conscience rigoureuse de la non-identité. Celui qui, aujourd'hui, lit Dialectique négative, fait une expérience proche de celle des Athéniens que Socrate arrêtait, il y a plus de deux mille ans, sur la place du marché, pour les arracher à leur affairement et les faire s'ouvrir à une interrogation abyssale.
