This book discusses the field of Digital Watermarking. Digital watermarking is the process of embedding information into a digital signal where this information can be extracted or detected at anytime. A new image watermarking technique based on the Natural Preserving Transform (NPT) is proposed. It is used in watermarking to embed a watermarked logo image or text into a host image at any location. The NPT using a new feature by which it can distribute the logo across the host image. This (NPT) technique is divided into two important watermark extraction techniques which are non-blind and blind techniques. The performance of these both techniques is tested by applying some attacks on the watermarked images such as cropping, compression, or salt and pepper noise. This book shows the non-blind technique and how the attacks like cropping and the noise can affect the performance.
