Patient education, medication administration and its side effects management, as well as providing emotional and psychological support to the clients and their families are few examples of nursing pivotal role in providing the standard care under the umbrella of oncology nursing. Such significant tasks require the optimum level of professional commitment in the chemotherapy administration arena to ensure an ideal outcome. Therefore, this research-based book was design to provide the readers with essential focal points that they might need in everyday practice in the field of chemotherapy administration. In which nursing practice before, during and after chemotherapy administration had been monitored for a year. The findings of this research-based book provide standardized guidelines to all health care providers who work with cancer clients, particularly nurses.
About the author
Khalida Mohammed Khuder: Graduate of the College of Nursing and got a master's degree and doctorate from the same university. She worked teaching in high schools of nursing and nursing institutes and is currently in the College of Nursing. Participated in modifying the curriculum colleges of nursing in Iraq and Authored textbook nursing ethics.
