About the author










Suryakanthi Tripathi retired from the Indian Foreign Service, with her last assignment being as India's Ambassador to Spain. Radha Chakravarty is a critic and translator. She teaches English Literature in Gargi College, University of Delhi. Nivedita Ray is a Research Fellow at the Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA), New Delhi.
