In this book we introduce a study of nuclear structure for some even - even isotopes ( A= 180 - 190 ) by using the interacting boson model IBM-1, that (Hafnium, Tungsten, Osmium, Platinum and Lead). The ( IBSS1. For ) program was used to find the energy levels and to calculate the energy ratios and quantum transitions depends on the total number for bosons (N) . The geometrical structure of the interacting boson model (IBM-1) was applied for a chosen isotope to calculate the potential energy surface .
