When Jacqueline Leigh was 38 years old, she began having spontaneous flashbacks of an incestuous childhood. This devastating experience destroyed everything she thought had been true about her life, family, and God. After several years in the Abyss of depression, she finally felt impelled to seek help. She was referred to Louise Lumen for Art Therapy-a therapeutic approach compatible with her artistic nature.

For three years Jacqueline used art, dreamwork, and energy healing to come to terms with her rage, shame, terror, and grief. Through this process of owning both her Light as well as her Shadow, she began to develop a sense of self-respect, empowerment, and a reconnection with her spiritual core. Jacqueline then decided to share her work, hoping to inspire other abused persons to seek their healing as well. This book is a record of Jacqueline's journey.
