This book primarily focus on solving the fundamental hydrodynamics problem in the area of marine/offshore engineering. Adhering to the industry's requirement a generalized pragmatic computer code is developed in the framework of 3D Numerical Wave Tank (NWT) approach to study the interactions of various fixed/floating offshore configurations with steep nonlinear waves. High computational demand required by conventional NWT are mitigated by suitable justifying approximations which enables the numerical tool to be routinely used by industry at the present time and in near future for accurate estimation of important design factors for many design alternatives during initial design stage. In addition, the developed NWT is robust and versatile which can accommodate other external loads from variety of different sources such as mooring lines, risers, DP systems, and other environmental loads like wind and current loads, etc. Many techniques have been devised and incorporated in the numerical code which enable extremely long duration simulations without suffering from any numerical instability problem typically encountered in full nonlinear Mixed Eulerian Lagrangian(MEL) based schemes.
