This text is the result of many years of experience in the UK working with children in an East London hospital (which receives over 1000 children a week through the children's Emergency Department) and the analysis of over 400 cases for the Family and Crown Courts. David Robinson, MSc,MRCPH,DCH is Consultant Paediatrician at the Queen’s
University Hospital, Romford and King George Hospital Ilford. Both East London
hospitals receive in total over 1000 children a week through the Emergency Department covering a total population of 750,000. As medical expert he has analysed over 400 cases for both the Family and Crown Courts.
