Coffee plays a vital role in the economy of Ethiopia and in the social lives of its Peoples. Specially coffee trade earns a great deal of foreign exchange to the country above any trade item. Among the nine regional states of the Country, Oromia Regional State produces more than 64 % of the coffee harvested in the Country. So the Ethiopian Federal and Oromia Regional Governments are expected to make laws that uphold human rights and conform to each other in the attempt of ensuring coffee quality control and marketing.
