This bibliography offers valuable annotated references on housing for older population for those interested in these initiatives and discussions. It begins with an overview piece on the state of policy, practice and research on housing for the older population in Singapore. This is followed by an annotated bibliography featuring published and unpublished work, spanning recent decades, pertaining to housing for the older population with emphasis on Singapore. It encompasses theoretical and empirical research reported in journal articles and book chapters as well as grey literature, like dissertations and theses, conference proceedings, working papers and newspaper articles. About the author

Belinda Yuen is a Senior Research Fellow with the Lee Kuan Yew Centre for Innovative Cities (LKYCIC), Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD). She is interested in the study of cities - understanding the interactions between the urban built environment and its social, cultural and environmental dynamics. She currently leads and directs the Lee Li Ming Programme in Ageing Urbanism at the LKYCIC and is principal investigator of its project on Understanding the changing needs of older Singaporeans. Belinda has a BA (Hons) (Geography), University of Singapore; MA (Town and Regional Planning), University of Sheffield; and PhD, University of Melbourne.
Emily Soh is involved in the Lee Li Ming Programme in Ageing Urbanism at the Lee Kuan Yew Centre for Innovative Cities at the Singapore University of Design and Technology. She graduated with a B.Sc in Real Estate from the National University of Singapore, and a Masters in Urban Planning and Policy Design from Politecnico di Milano in Italy. She has professional industry experience in both real estate and urban planning. She worked as an urban planner in an architectural firm on master planning, urban design and rail transportation projects. Research projects that she has worked on include topics on urban solutions, sustainability and urban diversity.a
