About the author

Editor of Statistical Complexity, Springer 2011 Professor Kalidas Sen (PhD, IIT-Kanpur) F.A.Sc., F.N.A. joined the University of Hyderabad in 1977 where he currently serves as the most senior professor. His collaborative research efforts in electronic structure theory with fellow scientists from Belgium, Cameroon, Canada, Chile, Germany, Greece, Japan, Mexico, Nigeria, Spain, Turkey, UK and the USA have led to the publication of 8 monographs and 190 research papers in various prestigious international journals. A recipient of Humboldt, Commonwealth, Fulbright, and NSERC Canada Research Fellowship, he has recently been awarded the DAAD Research Professorship, Indo-US Professor of Physics of the American Physical Society, Visiting Fellowship of the Office of Naval Research Laboratory, Washington, and the J.C. Bose National Fellowship.
