Informationen zum Autor Morris E. Opler has spent much of his long professional career researching the seven Apachean-speaking tribes of the American Southwest and southern Plains. He is well known for his contributions to anthropological theory and for his ethnographic works. He has taught at Harvard University, Cornell University, and the University of Oklahoma, and has been president of the American Anthropological Association.
