The current volume contains abbreviated versions of the conference papers originally presented at the 36th Annual Convention of the Parapsychological Association held in 1993. About the author

Nancy L. Zingrone is the editor of the newsletter of the Parapsychological Association, PA News. She is currently a doctoral candidate in psychology at the University of Edinburgh. Marilyn J. Schlitz (Ph.D, University of Texas at Austin), a past-member of the Board of Directors of the Parapsychological Association, presently serves as an Advisory Member for the National Institutes of Health Program on Alternative Medicine. Carlos Alvarado (Ph.D., University of Edinburgh) is a memebr of the Adjunct Faculty of Psychology at Centro Caribeno de Estudios Post-graduados in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Julie Milton Ph.D., University of Edinburgh) is co-editor of the European Journal for Parapsychology and an Honorary Research Consultant of the Psychology Department at the University of Edinburgh.
