Informationen zum Autor VANDANA JOSHI has conducted extensive research in the Gestapo Archives as a Fellow of the DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst) and the IFU (Internationale Frauen Universität). She is affiliated with the Technical University, Berlin, from where she gained a doctorate. She lives in New Delhi, India, with her family. The Gestapo were able to detect the smallest signs of non-compliance with Nazi doctrines, especially 'crimes' pertaining to the private spheres of social, family, and sexual life. This book examines women denouncers in Nazi Germany through close examination of the Gestapo files.
