About the author

MORIKI OHARA is Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at Ryokoku University, Japan. He had served as Senior Research Fellow at Institute of Developing Economies, Japan External Trade Organization (IDE-JETRO).

MANIMEGALAI VIJAYABASKAR is Assistant Professor at the Madras Institute of Development Studies, India. He has been a Visiting Fellow at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London and Research Fellow at the International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore.

HONG LIN is Director and Senior Research Fellow at the Shandong Institute for East Asia Studies, China. He has been Vice Director and Professor at the Centre for Japanese Studies, Shandong University.
