Klaus Staudt - Horizonte

Klaus Staudt (geb. 1932) nimmt seit den 1960er-Jahren eine bedeutende Position in der konstruktiv-konkreten Kunst ein. Für seine Reliefs und Objekte aus Holz oder Plexiglas wählt er die Grundformen Würfel und Quadrat, die er kombiniert und variiert, um Licht, Schatten, Raum und Bewegung zu erzeugen. Auf diese Weise entstehen transparente Bildräume, die neben ihrer klaren, konstruktiven Bildsprache das Moment der Bewegung aufweisen und damit vielschichtig zu deuten sind. Der umfangreiche Band zeigt das Schaffen des Künstlers seit 2000 mit Schwerpunkt auf den vertikalen, winkelprogressiven Strukturfeldern, den neu entstandenen Horizontalen sowie den Triptychen, mit denen er abermals Stringenz und Innovation beweist.Since the 1960s, Klaus Staudt (b. 1932) held an important position within constructivist Concrete Art.
