Rome and Sorrento - A Collection of Summer Moments

"Rome and Sorrento: A Collection of Summer Moments" details my summer study abroad experience in Rome and Sorrento, Italy. Through poetry, short stories, and creative nonfiction, I share with readers some of my memories from my summer abroad. This was my first experience in Europe, so I try to maintain a realistic viewpoint of what an American college girl could encounter while in a foreign country. Hopefully from my work you will gather that my time in Italy was truly unforgettable.

About the author

Natalie Swift is currently a graduate student at the University of South Carolina pursuing her Master of Mass Communication (M.M.C.). During her undergraduate career, she spent a summer studying abroad in Italy, which became her inspiration for this collection of "summer moments" to be used for her South Carolina Honors College senior thesis.
