She is currently researching changes in gender relations as a result of forced migration, and the return of populations among southern Sudanese refugees, at the Institute of Development Studies, University of Sussex, UK.   LYLA MEHTA is Research Fellow at the Institute of Development Studies,  University of Sussex, UK.
