The educational achievement of a child depends upon a number of factors such as education of mother, accessibility of educational institution, financial conditions, and family type etc. The lack of any of these factors leads to educational dropout. Thus, the present book attempts to analyse the factors that leads to dropout among the landloser families. In this book, it can show that the development that causes land acquisition and consequent displacement affects the educational achievement of the affected population. Thus, there is an urgent need to look into the matter and to conduct studies in different areas affected by land acquisition.

About the author










Dr. Arup Majumder M.Sc in Anthropology in 2007 from Dept. of Anthropology of Vidyasagar University,India, he completed his Ph.D (2015) in the same institution on socio-economic impact of land acquisition. In between, he has completed many other degrees like M.S.W, M.Phil, M.A. His research articles published in edited books & referred Journals.
