Gastrointestinal Parasitism of Equines - What every equine keeper should know

In this book we present the data of epidemiological survey which was conducted in the equine population of metropolitan Faisalabad, Punjab, Pakistan from September 2012 to August 2013 in order to achieve these objectives: (a) Determination of prevalence of common gastrointestinal parasites in the selected equine population of the metropolitan Faisalabad, Punjab, Pakistan, (b) Determination of associated risk factors and correlation among them including age, sex, breed, body scoring, physical parameters, and health conditions.

About the author

Urfa Bin Tahir pursued his M.Phil in Parasitology from the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, Pakistan, where he was conferred the title of outstanding research scholar in category of biological sciences, medical sciences and veterinary sciences by DICE foundation USA, during DICE 2013.
