About the author

Prof. Dieter Meschede lehrt an der Universität Bonn, wo er den Master-Studiengang Bonn International Physics Programm ins Leben gerufen hat. Sein Forschungsgebiet ist die Laserphysik, insbesondere die Atomoptik und Lichtkraftlithographie, Einzelne Atome und Optische Gitter sowie die Präzisions-Laserspektroskopie. Er ist auch Koordinator des Programms Nanostructure Fabrication by Control.
