Allison Perlman is Assistant Professor in the Departments of History and Film and Media Studies at the University of California, Irvine. She is the co-editor of Flow TV: Television in the Age of Media Convergence (with Michael Kackman, Marnie Binfield, Matthew Thomas Payne, and Bryan Sebok, Routledge 2011).
