The last financial crisis had an impact on many businesses and organizations. Because of these scarce resources, some of the organizations need to rethink their strategy in order to survive. Within this study, music festivals in the Netherlands are investigated. Music festivals already suffered from decreasing grants and the financial crisis made it extremely tough for music festivals in the Netherlands to survive. This study will focus on the innovation efforts made by these music festivals.

I'm Sven de Ridder, born on 5/3/1991 and grew up in a beach town called Noordwijk. After finishing my bachelor at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam, I moved to Groningen to study Strategic Innovation Management at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen.
