This little girl's family is huge! The only way to show how huge would be to draw a family tree. With a step-mum, a step-dad, four brothers and sisters, and a whole lot of grandparents, her family tree has a lot of branches - and a lot of people to love her.
Mo O'Hara's warm and playful story will speak to any young child with an extended family. Accompanied by Ada Grey's charming illustrations, More People To Love Me is a gorgeous book which shows that families come in all shapes and sizes.

About the author

Mo O'Hara grew up in Pennsylvania, USA, but now lives in south-east London. She began her writing and acting career by touring theatres and schools all across the UK and Ireland, working as a storyteller. As well as writing books for children, Mo has written comedy sketches for Radio 4 and performed her own material in London and Edinburgh. Mo is best-known for writing the bestselling My Big Fat Zombie Goldfish series for Macmillan Children's Books.

Ada Grey
grew up in a doodling household with parents who ran a small chain of bookshops so it was no surprise that she went on to study and work as an illustrator. Ada began her illustration career working on cards, gifts and stationery before turning her hand to children's books. She is now best-known for illustrating the bestselling The Royal Baby series. More People To Love Me is Ada's first book with Macmillan Children's Books. Ada works and lives in Brighton with her daughter and cat named Tiger.

Foreword

With this many people to love, why have a family tree when you can have a family forest?

Additional text

Families today are far from the nuclear family that used to be the norm - and this book celebrates that diversity. More People to Love Me takes a very positive view of this situation, emphasising the fact that the little girl, whose family is huge, has lots of people to love her.
