About the author

Françoise Armengaud hat Sprachphilosophie und Ästhetik an der Universität Paris X-Nanterre gelehrt. Sie ist unter anderem Autorin einer Einführung in die Pragmatische Philosophie und verfasst mit tätiger Unterstützung ihrer Katzen Bilderbücher und Gedichte für Kinder.

Annabelle Buxton kam 1986 in Basingstoke zur Welt, einer englischen Stadt, die es wirklich gibt. An der École Estienne in Paris lernte sie, wie man Bleistifte spitzt, und alles weitere dann an der École supérieure des Arts décoratifs in Straßburg. Heute hat sie ihr Büro in einem Außenbezirk von Paris, wo ihre verrückten Figuren, Tiermutanten und Wolkenschlösser sich vom Zeichentisch gegen sie erheben. Ihre Illustrationen sind in Zeitungen, Comiczeitschriften und auch in der Werbung anzutreffen.
