About the author

J. I. Packer - Es un teólogo eminente. En la actualidad es profesor de teología en Regent College, en Vancouver. Ha alcanzado un reconocimiento mundial gracias a títulos memorables que fueron éxitos de ventas.Merrill C. Tenney fue profesor de estudios teológicos y decano de la Escuela Graduada de Teología en el Wheaton College, donde dio clases desde 1944 hasta 1982. Además de enseñar Nuevo Testamento y Griego, fue el editor general de la obra Zondervan Pictorial Bible Dictionary, trabajó en el equipo original de traductores de la Biblia New American Standard y escribió varios libros. Tenney era defensor del fundamentalismo, y fue el segundo presidente de la Sociedad Teológica Evangélica. Nació en Massachusetts e hizo sus estudios en el Nyack Missionary Training Institute, el Gordon College of Theology and Missions, la Universidad de Boston y la Universidad de Harvard. El y su esposa Helen tuvieron dos hijos varones.
