About the author










Richard C. Adams (1864-1921) was a Delaware (Lenape) Indian who devoted twenty-five years of his life to being a champion of Delaware causes. He wrote five books about the Delaware legends, religion, and traditions.

Deborah Nichols is a Delaware tribal member who has contributed to the research and preservation of Delaware history, including a series of articles on the work of Richard C. Adams for the Delaware Indian News.
