Jimmy Starr served as a screenwriter on such films as Showgirl in Hollywood and was a gossip columnist for the Herald-Express and Daily Mirror. He also wrote 365 Nights in Hollywood, The Corpse came C.O.D., and Three Short Biers, all made into major motion pictures.
