Gloria S. Merker is Professor Emerita of Classical and Modern Languages at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, and author of Corinth XVIII.4: The Sanctuary of Demeter and Kore: Terracotta Figurines of the Classical, Hellenistic, and Roman Periods.
