Coming Back

Evan Powell was smitten by his coworker Cari. It was her persistence that brought him to church. When Cari introduces Evan to her small group, he asks himself, "Small group of what?" He soon learns her friends are a small group of people who care a lot about each other. When Evan loses his brother, Cari's small group travels four hours away for the funeral. Moved by their support, he joins their small group, eventually becomes a Christan, and marries Cari. Their jobs take them away from their hometown and over time their marriage falters. Evan returns to their hometown and runs into a friend from their small group. The friend invites him back into the group and Evan explains the fragile state of his marriage. Evan again feels the comfort and support of his small groups as they help him through this tough time.
