About the author

James T. Enns (Ph.D. Princeton University) is a Distinguished University Professor at the University of British Columbia in the department of psychology and the graduate program in neuroscience. Former associate editor for the journals Psychological Science and Visual Cognition, he has edited two research volumes on the development of attention, coauthored a textbook on perception, and published numerous articles on vision, attention, and cognitive science.
