A Nice Guy

Glen was recently hired to teach 5th grade and brought along a friend, Bill, to help set up the room. Coincidentally, this was Bill's alma mater, and Bill shares some funny stories from those years. The mood abruptly changes, however, when Bill discovers the room's radiator still has a bend in it from when he was there. In that spot, a boy in his class, Bobby Heaver, was tied to the radiator and had his pants pulled down in front of class. Bill feels the guilt of his participation that day?and also knowing Bobby later committed suicide. Bill knows everyone thinks he's a nice guy on the outside, but his capacity to hurt another human being haunts him. When left alone for a few minutes, Bill tries to apologize to Bobby.
