Is time running out for Granny Maggot?

Jim Wimple is just about getting used to the idea that his dad is the Grim Reaper. Life's not easy when your Dad is death, though, and the worst bit is keeping it a secret. Not telling his best friend, Will, is really hard but so far Jim has kept his cool.

Then he makes an alarming discovery - Will's granny is next on Dad's list. Time to lose cool, totally! Jim has just twenty-four hours to save Granny Maggot . . . and the clock is ticking,

How will Jim keep her safe and keep Dad's job a secret?

About the author

Rachel Delahaye got told off for talking in class quite a lot. That's because she loves words. After studying linguistics in Wales, very near a town called Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch (which is a great word), she began a career in print journalism. Nowadays, when she's not playing Boggle, Scrabble or Balderdash, she writes children's books.

Summary

Another fast and fun adventure about life, death and all the hilarity in between . . Jim is getting to grips with his father's rather unusual job at the Dead End Office and is keeping the truth secret as a promise to Dad. If the boys can keep Will's granny safe until midnight, can they save her life?

Foreword

Another fast, fun and fearless adventure about life, death and all the hilarity in between
