Informationen zum Autor Caroline Ikin completed an MA in Garden History at Birkbeck College, and a PhD on John Ruskin’s Garden at Brantwood, both while working for the National Trust. Her research in nineteenth-century gardens has led to two books on aspects of the Victorian garden: The Victorian Garden (2012), The Victorian Gardener (2014). Caroline has lectured at the Watts Gallery, the V&A and Oxford University. As well as working for the National Trust, first as a House and Collections Manager and now as a Curator, she has worked for the Gardens Trust and has been a trustee of Sussex Gardens Trust.
