From Venture Capital to Venture Philanthropy - The role of Business Angels in Microcredit

My work aims to study the evolution of venture capital financing in the social sector: applying business models to the social issues may turn the world into a better place, and provide insights for sustainable growth. The world population is growing at a tremendous pace, and we need to act now in order to create the society of tomorrow. A more equal distribution of resources is possible, and if achieved can make all of us richer: this is not an utopia, but simply an adaptation of the capitalistic model to the challenges we are about to face.

Born in Cuneo (Italy) in 1993, graduated in Business & Management School of Management & Economics of Turin, currently attending the Msc Strategic Management at Tilburg University (The Netherlands). Passionate reader of Latin American poetry and classic romances. Huge music lover and boxing fan, devoting a consistent amount of free time to both.
