Hide spaghetti in your hair, Keep crisps in your underwear. Never Use a Knife and Fork is an outrageous, tongue-in-cheek exploration of mealtime chaos that will have children in stitches. Full of mischief and mess, it shows exactly what you SHOULDN''T do with food -- squish it, slosh it, squirt it, squeeze it! Rollicking rhymes combine perfectly with Nick Sharratt''s trademark witty illustrations for a laugh-out-loud look at table manners.

About the author

Neil Goddard works in education as a consultant in behaviour. In his spare time he also works with his partner, Elizabeth, on picture books, getting ideas from seeing children in action. They have three children and a young granddaughter.

Nick Sharratt is one of today's best-loved children's illustrators with close to 250 books to his name and a Nestle Gold Medal-win under his belt. His collaborations with Julia Donaldson include Chocolate Mousse for Greedy Goose, Goat Goes to Playgroup and Animal Music. In addition to his picture books, Nick also illustrates for older children too, most notably creating the illustrations for the stories of Jacqueline Wilson. Nick lives in Edinburgh.
