The present work focuses on the technology acceptance and identification of factors that influence a successful interaction and adoption of medical assistance technology (eHealth) in home environment, which is meant to support people in an active and healthy aging. A user-centered research approach was realized to reveal how to design and adapt such eHealth systems to the individual concepts, needs and demands of the potential users to reach a high acceptance and an optimal commercial launch.
