Helen Graham is Professor of European Modern History at Royal Holloway, University of London, UK. She is the author of The Spanish Republic at War (2003), The Spanish Civil War: A Very Short Introduction (2005) and The War and its Shadow: Spain’s Civil War in Europe’s Long Twentieth Century (2012).
