Quartz is strategic raw material in the modern world, it is the main source of silicon for the high technical industries such as solar cells , semiconductors and optical fibers. About the author

O autor é assistente de ensino no Departamento de Geologia, Faculdade de Ciências, Universidade Beni-Suef. Além disso, trabalhou como investigador no Laboratório de Nanofotónica e Aplicações Materiais. O autor tem vários artigos científicos em revistas internacionais e cerca de três livros sobre mineralogia aplicada, ciência dos materiais, e remediação da água.
