The term "nanorefrigerant" do not indicate very small sized refrigerator rather it means the mixture of high thermal conductivity nanoparticles with refrigerant to enhance thermal performance. This study is based on my Masters research work in University of Malaya. This is one of the pioneering work about nanorefrigerants where microstructures, some fundamental thermophysical properties (thermal conductivity, viscosity and density) and migration properties during pool boiling heat transfer are analyzed. The most important challenge was mixing the nanometer sized particles in a refrigerant gas. Still the available literature about nanorefrigerants are not enough for practical implementation of nanoparticles in the refrigeration cycle. More studies are expected in this area and this research will improve fundamental knowledge to the future researchers and industrialists.
