Atmospheric Diagnosics in Urban Regions - Results from an International Workshop

On invitation of the Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt (DBU) an international workshop Atmospheric diagnostics in urban regions was held in summer 2000. Chemists and physicists in the field of atmospheric sciences presented their research results as follows: Heterogeneous chemistry and deposition , Remote regions and long range transport , Trends of gaseous and particulate pollutants , Air quality and photochemical smog , Atmospheric chemistry of VOCs , Tropospheric aquaeous phase historical materials and new developments . The present documentation focuses on the important results of the current situation of European research in the field of atmospheric diagnostic with priority going to Germany, Italy and Poland.
