Non-conventional source of food reduces the cost of feeding and production of tilapia which its cultures has spread racing it using varieties of farming systems in all continents of the world now. Production of tilapia in the continents of Asia, South America, Africa and the United States is in increase. This Fish is cheap compared to the marine fish and consumer favorite. The high cost of feeding dilemma affect the production of tilapia in addition to high ingredients prices and offal so the trend has been to utilize the dried water hyacinth and see its effect on fish growth and its ability to digest it when incorporated in different proportions in the diet of tilapia and after knowing the its nutritional composition, amino acids and fatty acids profile.

Mr. Mubarak Eisa Abdelrahman Tibin was born on 9th Jan.1964 in Khartoum,Sudan. He achieved Bsc.(Zoology) & M.SC.(Aquaculture) from India. He worked as Head Department of Fisheries for Upper Nile University (2003-2007). Awarded Ph.D. in aquaculture from Universiti Malaysia Terengganu,Malaysia. Now he is assistant Prof. at University of Bahri.
