The work entitled "Genetics of agro-morphological yield determinants in mungbean (Vigna radiata L. Wilkzek)" is submitted by Chandra Mohan Singh to award the Ph. D. This work comprised of morphological characterization of mungbean genotypes, genetic variability parameters, correlation, regression, path analysis, multivariate analysis (genetic divergence) using three different methods i.e. Tochers' method, Non-Hierarchical Euclidean method & K-mean clustering method, optimization of harvest index, diallel analysis (graphical and numerical), heterosis, limit of genetic divergence in relation to heterosis, generation mean analysis and inheritance pattern of some important agro-morphological traits.

About the author










Author received Ph. D. degree in Plant Breeding and Genetics from RAU, Pusa, India followed by M. Sc. (Ag) in GPB from SHIATS, Allahabad, India. He also qualified ASRB-NET. He participated eight symposia, thus delivered seven poster and two oral presentations. More than 25 research articles of national and international repute are credited to him.
