Zusatztext "...a magnificent and heartfelt novel." - Library Journal , Starred Review "Eloy Urroz’s The Family Interrupted , translated from Spanish by Ezra Fitz, ties together the life of distinguished Spanish poet Luis Cernuda in England, where he’s fled during Spain’s Civil War, with the struggles of a young Mexican filmmaker dealing with a provocative family situation and questions of God in contemporary New York. Yes, a novel of ideas, but the ideas are beautifully stitched into a heartfelt story." -Barbara Hoffert, Library Journal Informationen zum Autor Eloy Urroz is the author of The Obstacles, Friction, and The Novelist’s Wife, forthcoming from Dalkey Archive Press, along with several other volumes of poetry and literary criticism.
